ASPEQ has been providing contracted exams services to the road transport sector on behalf of the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) since 1998.  The main focus of the services has been exam services for the issue of a transport service licence.

 ASPEQ supplies computer exams services to the land transport industry for the transport service licences.  Services are provided through a network of permanent and mobile computer exam centres throughout New Zealand.

 The exam services apply to taxi operators and heavy transport operators who want to operate a transport service in New Zealand
